I am a freelance graphic designer with some amazing experience in the creative industry. I have been freelancing for the past 6 years, since deciding to leave my role as Art Director of the Hearst weekly magazine hub. 

 

I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands, most recently at Fabulous Magazine at The Sun and also as part of the design hub at Reach Plc, designing across OK, New, Notebook, S, WeLoveTV,  Saturday and many more newspaper weekend supplements.

 

Other publications I have worked on include Elle, Closer, Bella, Heat, Best, Woman, Take a break/That's Life and many across the Woman's Weekly market, Teen and Young Adult sector.

 

I have taken part in magazine redesigns, event space creation, branding and online management. I am confident when managing deadlines, directing shoots and supervising freelancers. I retouch all of my own work and am also extremely comfortable working in Censhare, Content Station and Content Watch and Methode'.

 

I have had sole experience in directing shoots, with both models, readers and celebrities and feel comfortable working on location as well as in a still life capacity. I also have experience liaising with clients and marketing departments in regard to advertorials, promotions and brand extensions, as well as commissioning illustrators and photographers for magazine features.
